I am diabetic type II using insulin. With the help from True North Disability Services I just got a significant amount of money from RCA for my disability tax credit refund. I am very satisfied with their service. All process was done professionally and very fast. Less than one hour after I sent an enquiry through internet I got a telephone call from one of their staff explaining the eligibility of my case to claim the Disability Tax Refund and sent me the forms I have to fill out and sign. After I signed and sent back the forms to them using a paid envelope their provided, I didn’t need to do anything, just waiting. The services included getting the Doctor’s note and sending the application to CRA. They are very proactive and always updated me on every stage of the process. The whole process from the beginning until I got the money was only about six weeks, even though at the beginning they told me it would take about 8 weeks to get approval from CRA and another 3-4 weeks to get the refund. I came across on Facebook an ad issued by True North Disability Services re( DIABETES. In view of this, I immediately contacted them just to give a try and corresponding required forms are forwarded for completion. At the time, while I was away for holidays from * to Vancouver visiting a family, True North was very busy processing the submission of my application to include my doctors’s certication and other documentation and finally submitted to RCA on Dec 9, 2015. To my surprise, in just 6 weeks I received a letter from RCA advising me that a review of my application had already been completed and approved for 10 years Disability tax credit benefits. Mind you !! In just exactly 10 days from receipt of RCA’s letter my bank had a direct deposit in the amount of &13,400. In view of the above, I would like to thank and extend full gratitude to True North for unquestionable initiative to place an AD – Disability Tax Credit benefit whereby to be honest, I have no idea this benefit existed. With my experience to said company, I am inviting my fellow Filipino community to trust and contact True North for further clarification to avail of the benefits .

True North Disability Services offered help with something I have been wondering about for many years. I am a diabetic and have been for 36 years. All this time I wondered why I couldn’t claim this on income tax. My disability is not visible but it really makes a difference in the way you lead your life. When I saw their ad on FB I investigated and thank God I did. They assisted me in getting a refund of over $15000.00 for the past 10 years and I will be able to claim it for the rest of my life unless a cure is found. Thank you so much for your assistance.

It all worked out well with True North, they were very helpful, kind and professional. I am glad that i worked with them and heard of the information they had published over Facebook, otherwise I would not have known. They are even going to help me with some information about setting up a disability retirement savings account that sounds very beneficial. My return from CRA was quite substantial too. I came across this company on Facebook and thought I would look into the Disability Tax Credit. I was really happy with the explanation that I received on how to start the process and True North was there to walk me through all the steps that I needed to apply for the credit. I have been retired for the last few years, but was told the government could go back ten years on my taxes if I qualified. True North explained that because of the tax season upon us it may take a little longer to have my application looked at. But I started in Early December 2015 and just received my back tax credits March 10th/16 !! The only draw back about going through True North, is that they have to make some money, which I understand, but they do charge 20% of what you receive and for myself a retired person I think that the charge is too steep, perhaps a flat rate as GST is also charged so it soon adds up, considering you can do this yourself if you have the time and patient to research and understand the Governments rules. All in all it was a very good experience.
